Harmo Draüs is a songwriter, performer and musician. Coming from a family of musicians, she trained in music theory, learned how to play the guitar and piano, started singing and composing when she was very young. Rocked by the progressive and psychedelic rock of the 70's, she was also introduced to Jazz and Soul at a early age. A joyful heterogeneous mix in her ears led her to experiment.
While studying in Glasgow, she discovered shoegaze, nu-gaze, art rock and dream pop which has inspired her. All these genres gradually assimilated, Harmo now writes an ambient, textured, lo-fi music with psychedelic and melancholic accents. Her influences include Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Kate Bush, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, Jeff Buckley and more recently, Agnes Obel, Warpaint, Beach House and Sunflower Bean.
Winner of the 2019 'Start' program (program of the 'FAR', regional agency supporting contemporary music in Normandy), she is preparing an EP for the beginning of 2021.
In 2020, she also joins David Shaw and the Beat, with a first live performance on March, the 12th at La Boule Noire in Paris.
